EH55-Plus funding: federal government increases budget

The federal government is providing additional funds for Efficiency House 55 Plus. Because of high demand, the original budget of 800 million euros would have run out before the end of the year. Since the programme began in December 2025, around 52,100 homes have received around 4.9 billion euros in loans and grants, as of 5 October 2026.
