DAVE market report: residential is the anchor of stability

The German property investment market continues to recover. In the first half of 2026, transaction volumes in most asset classes and cities were above the previous year, most clearly in residential. This is the finding of the 2026/2027 market report by the Deutscher Anlage-Immobilien Verbund, presented at Expo Real. A return to the years before interest rates rose is not expected.
