Mortgage rates back at 4.5 per cent
Anyone building or buying today pays around 4.5 per cent again for a ten-year mortgage, and longer terms are heading towards five per cent. The Bauherren-Schutzbund does not expect relief any time soon. This makes low-interest funding loans and depreciation that helps carry the purchase all the more important.
How this works for a new build is set out in our article New builds as an investment.
