Kaufering builds micro homes - for little money?

Kaufering - Housing shortage prevails in the market town. There seems to have talked about with potential investors and developers around. In the most recent market town council meeting, a developer presented a project that now seems to be well advanced. The "Inventus.blue" plans to build 60 micro-apartments in Bahnhofstrasse on two L-shaped houses. "Micro Living" is the name of this new form of living in the jargon of the real estate industry - a term that is not yet well known in Kaufering.

The properties in Bahnhofstraße 19/21 directly next to the station have been bought, said managing director Peter Kerler. "The release is registered at the land registry office". Finally, only the municipal agreement was missing on the building application, which was granted after a short discussion with only two votes against. The project was also given the go-ahead by the building committee.

The developer expects this year with the building permit. Thus, the excavators could already roll in the spring. The completion plans "Inventus.blue" for the summer of 2019. Provided is a large animal garage with 50 parking spaces. There are also 120 bicycle parking spaces, both at ground level and in the underground car park. Due to the L-shaped arrangement of the two buildings, a large landscaped courtyard is to be created.
Optically larger

Large are the individual apartments with their 22 square meters, which are rented furnished, not. Peter Kerler emphasized that flowing space zones create a feeling of greatness that is reinforced by the use of materials, light and modern technology. This would make the apartments more than just a furnished room.

According to the developer, the rent is to be 450 euros; plus the additional costs and possibly the rent for a parking space in the underground garage.

The residential offer is aimed at students, commuters, apprentices or guests of companies that need temporary accommodation. Also for the local youth micro homes are interesting. Many adolescents prefer to be close to their parents' home, but have difficulty finding housing at all.

For the developer, Kaufering is an ideal location because of its excellent railway offering, says Peter Kerler.
Creative change

Concern about whether the housing fit into the family-style environment, expressed. Thomas Harbich (CSU). Building law but everything was fine, replied Mayor Erich Püttner. Market council Manfred Nieß called on the administration to speak as quickly as possible with the immediate residents in Bahnhofsstraße, since the social environment will change as a result of the 60 micro-apartments. "The citizens must be involved," demanded Nieß.

Whether the developer completely markets the property itself and manages or whether apartments can also be purchased, is still open.
